Dr. Haris Koumoullis is a dually board-certified Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon and Head & Neck / Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon.
He graduated from both the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the School of Medicine of the University of Ioannina, before completing postgraduate studies and research at the University of Athens, earning an MSc in Robotic Surgery, Minimally Invasive Techniques and Telemedicine.
He completed full specialty training in Plastic, Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery in Scotland (North East of Scotland Deanery) and in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in England (Merseyside Deanery, Health Education England North West).
During his dual surgical training, he worked in some of the United Kingdom’s leading centres, including Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool — a national reference centre for Head & Neck Oncology, and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool, an internationally recognised centre for Craniofacial and Cleft Surgery.
Following this, Dr. Koumoullis completed a fellowship in Head & Neck Microvascular Oncology Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center (Baltimore, USA) the largest head and neck surgical oncology centre on the U.S. East Coast. There, he received advanced training in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology, Microvascular Reconstruction, and Robotic Surgery applications in Head & Neck Surgery.
He has led and participated in numerous innovative research projects in the fields of oncologic and reconstructive surgery, surgical education, facial nerve anatomy and regeneration, and the functional and surgical rehabilitation of facial nerve disorders.
He is a member of the following scientific societies:

• Hellenic Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (HESPRAS)
